Why didn't my message deliver?

Sending and delivering are two different events — US carriers make the final call, and reitexter records the reason they gave. Open History, or the thread in Chat, and every recipient carries its own status. The usual reasons: the carrier filtered it as spam, the number you sent from isn't registered for 10DLC, the recipient is a landline that can't receive text, that person replied STOP at some point, the number is disconnected, or you hit a daily sending cap. A message that ends in failure is refunded to your balance automatically — you are not charged for traffic that never arrived.

What is 10DLC registration, and why does it take days?

In the US, business texting from a normal 10-digit number runs through A2P 10DLC. You register a brand — your legal business, including its EIN — and a campaign describing what you'll be sending and why, and then your numbers attach to that campaign. reitexter submits both from inside the app and tracks the status: pending, in progress, then verified or failed. The wait is carrier-side review, not a queue on our end, so it runs in days rather than minutes. Start it the day you sign up. Sending from an unregistered number is the single most common reason messages get filtered.

What happens when someone replies STOP?

A one-word STOP or UNSUBSCRIBE flags that contact, stamps the date on it, and moves them into your unsubscribers group. From then on every path that could send them something checks first — campaigns, bulk sends, auto-replies and one-off texts all pass through the same gate — and the power dialer screens its call queue the same way before it dials. You don't have to remember who opted out, and you can't accidentally reach them from a different tool.

How does the wallet work, and what am I charged for?

One prepaid dollar balance runs everything, and your plan fills it: the full subscription price — $99.99, $199.99 or $299.99 — is added to it every month as spendable credit. Texts draw from it at your plan's rate — 0.4¢ a segment on Core, 0.35¢ on Scale, 0.29¢ on Max — and a picture message counts as two segments. Phone numbers are $10 a month each, outbound calls 4¢, and carrier registration fees come off the same balance. Receiving anything is free. If the balance runs empty, sending simply stops — nothing goes out unfunded, and there's no invoice at the end of the month for traffic you didn't mean to send.

What do the plans cost?

Core is $99.99 a month, Scale is $199.99, Max is $299.99 — and the full price is added to your prepaid balance every month as texting credit, so the tier you pick is really a rate: 0.4¢ per text segment on Core, 0.35¢ on Scale, 0.29¢ on Max. Seats scale with the tier — 1, 5 and 15 — and every plan gets all twelve tools. Phone numbers are $10 a month each from the same balance. There's a 14-day free trial to start, and plans are purchased inside the reitexter app for iPhone and Android.

What's actually in the product?

Twelve things. Inbox: Chat, Phone, AI Receptionist, Numbers and Leads, where the AI receptionist's captured callers land for follow-up — the tools for when somebody is contacting you. Marketing: Campaigns, Bulk Send, Auto-Replies, Templates, History and Contacts — the tools for when you're reaching a list. Plus Learn, the walkthroughs, which sit in the nav beside everything they explain. That is the whole list. It's a texting and calling platform, not a back office, and that is deliberate.

What's the difference between Bulk Send and Campaigns?

Bulk Send is one message to a set of people, now. Campaigns are scheduled and can repeat — on an hourly cycle, or by day, week or month, in a time zone you choose, with an optional limit on how many times they run. Either way, History shows every recipient and what happened to each one. A campaign can be paused part-way through a send, and the portion that hasn't gone out yet returns to your balance.

Can I import my list?

Yes. Upload a CSV and it imports in the background, so a large file doesn't hold up the screen. Your own columns come across as custom fields, contacts can be sorted into groups, and those fields become merge fields in Templates — which is how one bulk send addresses each person by name, or by whatever else your file happens to carry, without you editing anything by hand.

Do I need my own phone number?

Yes — buy one in Numbers. Local or toll-free, and it becomes the number your contacts see and reply to. In the US a number is $10 a month, drawn from your balance; other countries are priced individually. You can run several, and separating lists across separate numbers is a normal way to keep one campaign's sending reputation from dragging another's down.

What is the AI Receptionist, and what does it cost?

A $69.99-a-month add-on that answers your line when you can't get to it, and can carry a text conversation on its own. Fifty conversations a month are included, pooled across calls and texts — a call shorter than 30 seconds doesn't count against them — and it's $0.99 for each conversation after that. If you reply in the thread yourself, it steps back and lets you take over.

Can I set up automatic replies?

Auto-Replies run on inbound messages. Match a keyword, run always-on or only inside a schedule you set, and send back whatever you like — an instant first response so nobody is left waiting on you, an after-hours note, or a keyword that unsubscribes the sender on request. An automatic reply costs the same as one you typed.

How do I change or cancel my plan?

Plans are bought through the App Store and Google Play, so they're changed and cancelled in the same place — your Apple or Google subscription settings. Your wallet balance is prepaid usage and is separate from the plan. If you want the account itself closed, or your data returned or deleted, there are pages on this site for both.

Sign up, confirm your email, buy a number, and start the 10DLC registration the same day — that's the step with a wait in it, so it should be first, not last. While it's in review, import your list, write a couple of templates and set up an auto-reply for inbound. When the campaign verifies, send.
